The Adventure Film Festival's World Tour mobilizes this year's finest award winning films, bringing them to life on the big screen in venues around the world. Audiences will travel through the lens into the minds and locations of the world's foremost adventurers, stirring contemplative and emotionally charged journeys within ourselves. These films invite us all to spread the creativity, enthusiasm, and activism inherent in Adventure. Our typical tour show lasts 2-3 hours and features 3-7 films of varying lengths, each one focusing on different elements of adventure. The films are pre selected by the festival's jury to provide the highest caliber programming with consideration to the varying demographics and interests of each specific audience. Custom presentations are also available that might include special guest speakers and performances, outdoor movie nights, multi day events or private showings. This international forum for the best and most inspiring independent films of the year cover the range of human adventure from heart-stopping athleticism, serious exploration, environmental heroism and gripping tales from the edges of the believable. Adventurers and filmmakers created this festival because we believe in the power of the story, especially the narrative of adventure and awakening to change and challenge the world we live in.
