Born in Peru and growing up with a guitar in his hands, Diego’s talent as a musician began at a very early age. As a teenager, he started appearing in a famous Peruvian T.V. show and by the age of 15, he was already finding success as a model and songwriter.
At 16, singing in both English and Spanish, he won second place on Latin American Idol. Diego Val is a real artist blending great lyrics, rich vocals and acoustic guitar. Just 5 years later, at 21, we find Diego living in Miami, and garnering quite a following with his intoxicating sound. His music has been featured on The Hills and in the films Buena Vida and Waiting. He is in a development deal for Interscope Records, has been touring recently with Maroon 5 and was featured on the cover of the nationwide Latino magazine "Mujer".
