She puts her guitar in the trunk of her car and does an average of 150 live shows a year criss-crossing the country. She follows her own vision for her music and her soul / blues / rock / acoustic / alternative style has brought comparisons to Ben Harper, Cat Power, Neko Case, Patty Griffin, Martin Sexton and others.

Born in the Philippines to a music-loving family, Alfa grew up surrounded by the sounds of church hymns, folk songs and jam sessions. After emigrating to New York City at the age of 5, she began piano and violin lessons, getting her first taste of the musician’s life as a violinist in the Long Island-based Children’s Orchestra Society.

More than a decade after breaking into the Boston music scene, Chad Perrone continues to play to large crowds of dedicated followers, friends and new supporters.
